Role Overview
- Develop and implement an effective compliance program
- Maintain the organisation’s risk management framework
- Design and deliver a risk-based compliance assurance programme
- Create sound internal controls and assess their effectiveness
- Draft and revise company policies
- Provide advice and credible challenge to stakeholders
- Conduct data protection impact assessments
- Lead efforts to respond to data subject access requests
- Collaborate with external auditors and third-party suppliers
- Keep abreast of regulatory changes
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Risk and Compliance Officer or Risk and Compliance Manager
- Strong understanding of risk management principles
- Expertise of Compliance laws and regulations
- Familiar with The Pensions Regulator and Financial Conduct Authority regulatory requirements
- Prior experience in operational risk, testing, or audit preferred
- Excellent written, verbal and analytical skills
- Highly motivated self-starter, flexible, innovative, and adaptive
- Strong attention to detail, team oriented, organised
