About this role
Role Overview
You implement sales strategies for our endoprosthetic products, with a focus on shoulder reconstruction to strengthen and expand market position
You routinely attend endoprosthetic surgeries on site and support the OR team with the practical application of our products
You independently plan and conduct training sessions and workshops for hospital staff
You identify potential customers and take an active role in new customer acquisition
You actively and efficiently manage external inventory held at hospitals to optimize availability and control costs
You leverage your product and customer knowledge to build and maintain partnership-based relationships with hospitals and decision-makers
You analyze customer needs and develop optimal solutions together with customers and internal stakeholders
You monitor the market environment and provide well-founded recommendations for appropriate actions and activities
You work closely with the team, share your knowledge and strengthen our learning culture through proactive collaboration
You represent the company at trade fairs, congresses and local symposia
You support Professional Education initiatives and contribute to their success
You document customer activities meticulously and provide regular reports to management
Requirements
Medical or pharmaceutical background with OR experience, preferably in orthopaedics, or a completed degree
Experience as a medical device consultant in orthopaedics and/or trauma surgery
Existing customer network is a plus
Fluent German and good English skills
Strong IT and MS Office skills and sound business acumen
Innovative, creative and proactive approach with a willingness to learn
Analytical thinking and strategic commercial sense
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Empathy and team orientation
Good technical skills and technical understanding
Willingness to travel up to 75% within the assigned territory
