The Solutions Director (or Director, Client Advisory as we call it) will hire and allocate resources, perform employee reviews and evaluations, participate in strategic deals, and back up team members as needed to grow regional business.
Communicate sales plans to employees within your regions.
Identify needed resources for supporting sales strategy and develop a proposed budget for Senior Management review.
Keep senior management informed of key issues and changes which may impact expected business results.
Select, develop, and evaluate personnel to ensure departmental and regional goals are met.
Provide guidance on strategic, program, and project initiatives.
Meet quarterly and annual quota objectives working in partnership with the Sales organization.
Utilize sales process to develop account plans in partnership with the Sales organization.
Manage and prioritize sales opportunities.
Requirements
BS/BA or equivalent and applicable work experience.
5+ years in a pre or post-sales capacity within an IT security environment.
5+ years previous security experience in all of the following areas: Firewall; IPS; DLP; SIEM; Application security; Web security, Cloud and AI security.
Knowledge of Canadian regulatory compliance.
Proven track record of managing technical personnel.
Valid Canadian driver’s license.
Ability to travel within Canada and the United States.
