About this role
Role Overview
- Analyze existing tool ecosystems and define integration requirements to support end-to-end system development
- Design and implement bidirectional connectors/APIs (REST, SOAP, JMS, etc.) for JIRA, DOORS, Cameo, GitLab, and related tools
- Develop automated scripts and workflows for data synchronization, change propagation, and traceability matrix generation
- Conduct validation testing, performance tuning, and continuous monitoring of integration pipelines
- Provide documentation, training, and support to engineering teams for integrated workflows
- Collaborate with configuration management, quality assurance, and cybersecurity teams to ensure compliance with LM standards
- Solve complex problems that require the consistent use of ingenuity and creativity
- Work performed without appreciable direction and reviewed for desired results over a relatively long time frame; may serve in project leadership roles and represent the organization as the prime customer contact on significant technical matters related to contracts
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s Degree in STEM Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field from an accredited university, along with 8 years of experience; or a Master’s degree (preferred) in a STEM-related field with 6 years of relevant work experience; or a PhD in a related discipline with 4 years of relevant work experience
- Current, active in-scope DoD-issued Secret security clearance
- Willingness to travel 10% of the time for business needs
- Work performed as a member of an Agile Scrum team
- Work performed in a closed area, 100% in-office with no remote opportunity
- Master's Degree in Systems Engineering is highly preferred
- Certification: INCOSE Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP)
- Certification: Object Management Group Certified Systems Modeling Professional
- Model Builder Fundamental (OCSMP – MBF)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing frameworks, and containerized deployments (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Certifications in Atlassian (JIRA), IBM DOORS, or Cameo
- Working knowledge of DoD/IA-approved security standards and data handling policies
