Responsibility for FCS Bayport Environment, Health and Safety, hierarchically reporting to the site Plant Manager
As EHS Management process owner of the site, responsible for the proper running of the process, analyzing risks in the process, and ensuring intended results
Oversee daily activities of team members to maintain & develop Environmental (14001) and Occupational Health & Safety (45001) management systems
Ensure compliance with Group, government Environment, Health & Safety regulations and customer requirements
Issue instructions on the functioning of the EMS (post-audit orders)
Work with team to develop effective Environment, Occupational Health & Safety strategies
Requirements
Technical Bachelor or Master Degree (process, chemistry, metallurgy, engineering...) ideally completed by some training in Safety prevention or Environmental studies (but not a must)
10 to 15 years of EHS experience of which at least 5 in a production & plant environment experience
Good understanding/knowledge of chemical and metallurgical processes and associated risks
Having implemented safety prevention programs in industrial environment is a plus
Practical experience with HAZOP, ATEX regulations and other relevant prevention programs & regulations
Knowledge of the process and risk-based approach
Knowledge of the requirements of ISO14001, 45001 and 9001 to the extent necessary to manage the assigned process
Proficient with PC tools as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Knowledge of more advanced digital tools, such as PowerBi is a plus
