Role Overview
- Responsibility for FCS Bayport Environment, Health and Safety, hierarchically reporting to the site Plant Manager
- As EHS Management process owner of the site, responsible for the proper running of the process, analyzing risks in the process, and ensuring intended results
- Oversee daily activities of team members to maintain & develop Environmental (14001) and Occupational Health & Safety (45001) management systems
- Ensure compliance with Group, government Environment, Health & Safety regulations and customer requirements
- Issue instructions on the functioning of the EMS (post-audit orders)
- Work with team to develop effective Environment, Occupational Health & Safety strategies
Requirements
- Technical Bachelor or Master Degree (process, chemistry, metallurgy, engineering...) ideally completed by some training in Safety prevention or Environmental studies (but not a must)
- 10 to 15 years of EHS experience of which at least 5 in a production & plant environment experience
- Good understanding/knowledge of chemical and metallurgical processes and associated risks
- Having implemented safety prevention programs in industrial environment is a plus
- Practical experience with HAZOP, ATEX regulations and other relevant prevention programs & regulations
- Knowledge of the process and risk-based approach
- Knowledge of the requirements of ISO14001, 45001 and 9001 to the extent necessary to manage the assigned process
- Proficient with PC tools as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of more advanced digital tools, such as PowerBi is a plus
