Radiological Control First Line Manager – FLM

Role Overview

• Responsible for the management and supervision of the Radiological Control Program
• Assists the Facility Manager in directing and integrating the Facility's Radiation Protection Program
• Implements program improvements relative to employee performance through Conduct of Operations initiatives
• Ensures facility operations personnel are following the requirements of the Site's Radiological Controls (5Q) Manual
• Provides implementation, surveillance, and maintenance of RadCon policies/guidelines
• Computes and enforces radiation exposure standards (ALARA)
• Conducts ALARA reviews, walkthroughs, and surveillance of areas
• Supervises and trains Radiological Control & Health Protection Department (RC&HP) Inspectors

Requirements

• High School Diploma and applicable experience in a senior level or management role in radiological control
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in SRS Liquid Waste facilities
