About this role
Role Overview
Report to Home & Auto EVP & CEO
Lead Synchrony’s partner/industry strategy and commercial performance across the Home Core segment
Manage a team while leading a cross-functional team on growth imperatives and partnerships
Develop strategic vision and multi-year growth plan for Home Core segment
Drive commercialization strategies to increase sales, account volume, and revenue
Own performance management across the multi-billion dollar Home Core segment
Partner with various functions to evaluate investment choices and ensure strong execution
Represent Synchrony’s interests externally across relevant industries
Lead and oversee complex contract negotiations
Build strong relationships with Synchrony leadership and stakeholders
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree OR 15 years of progressive commercial sales experience
10+ years business development, client relationship, and/or negotiation experience in healthcare, retail, or related industries
10+ years people management experience, including leading sales teams
10+ years demonstrated superior sales, business, and financial acumen
10+ years demonstrated experience in taking business concepts to effective strategy to monetization
10+ years demonstrated experience in leading/closing contract negotiations
Must have a deep understanding of commercial products, services, and capabilities
Must be willing to travel up to 50% of the time
