About this role
Role Overview
- Assist in the development and maintenance of applications using Guidewire BillingCenter.
- Work with team members to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
- Help design, code, test, and debug software components with guidance from senior developers.
- Participate in team meetings and collaborate on project deliverables.
- Learn and apply industry best practices and internal standards.
- Support system integration and configuration tasks as needed.
Requirements
- Some experience or coursework with Guidewire, Java, or GOSU programming is preferred.
- Interest in learning Guidewire BillingCenter and insurance technologies.
- Understanding of software development basics and Agile methodology.
- Good problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn.
- Clear communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
- Experience with automated testing tools (like GUnit or Selenium) is a plus but not required.
- Guidewire certification or training is a bonus.
- You must be located within driving distance of our offices in Coppell (TX) for occasional team collaboration.
