Provide ongoing services covering the operation of the client’s entire SAP solution environment.
Perform support, operation, monitoring, maintenance, configuration and post-installation activities for all of the client’s SAP products.
Maintain and execute backup and restore routines when necessary.
Open tickets, service calls, incidents and problem reports as required.
Perform availability analysis of the environment, identifying trends, root causes and risks, and issuing technical reports and opinions.
Apply the “Run SAP Like a Factory” (RSLAF) methodology to ensure full monitoring of SAP systems.
Monitor regular and exceptional processing flows (BATCH/ONLINE).
Identify deviations in system behavior (BATCH/ONLINE), checking for situations such as increased/reduced execution time, abnormal termination and other exceptions; produce technical reports and propose improvements.
Execute STOP/START of applications, routines or tools, or suspend/interrupt processing for scheduled maintenance.
Create, maintain and document support routines for the production process.
Configure products and tools that support production analysis, such as SAP Solution Manager (SolMan) and Introscope, to assist in problem diagnosis and IT service management.
Develop, maintain, enhance and document monitors, dashboards, panels and alerts related to SAP environments to enable monitoring and management of IT services.
Continuously analyze routines, programs, transactions and servers to propose improvements, corrections and adjustments focused on performance and efficiency.
Participate in planning and preparing implementation and/or maintenance schedules for systems.
Automate the opening of tickets, incidents, problems and service requests whenever possible.
Ensure the availability of databases and systems within defined days and hours.
Respond to change requests and service requests.
Transfer knowledge to the CAIXA team or a third party designated at the company's discretion, when required.
Monitor infrastructure during integrated tests, regression tests, performance and load tests, and data migration activities.
Perform other tasks of the same nature and level of complexity associated with the organizational environment.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, or completion of any undergraduate degree accompanied by a postgraduate certificate (specialization, master’s or doctorate) in Information Technology of at least 360 hours.
DESIRABLE CERTIFICATION: SAP Certified Technology Associate – System Administration (SAP BASIS).
Desired experience: 3 years working with technical administration of SAP BASIS environments, including installation, upgrades, performance tuning and maintenance of SAP systems.
