About this role
Role Overview
Build relationships with customers via in-person, by appointment, and virtually to provide counsel
Adapt a digital first mindset to assess and attend to customers’ banking needs
Obtain and process customer and account information
Demonstrate and educate clients on deposit and loan products and services
Recommend solutions based on each customer’s unique goals and needs
Fosters relationships with clients through proactive outreach and follow up
Identify solutions for new and existing clients
Maintain knowledge of consumer and business banking products and services
Provide a consistent optimal client experience including processing basic transactions
Develop partnerships with branch team members and partners
Open new consumer and business accounts, complete service requests, and submit credit applications
Proactively educate clients on emerging and self-service digital products and services to assist with financial needs
Leverage resources and technologies to optimize client experience
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
Typically has a minimum three to four years of job-related, retail banking experience or a combination of experience and commensurate training
Proven ability to build and foster relationships with clients through proactive outreach and follow up
Ability to effectively engage and communicate with clients
Thorough knowledge of applicable bank and branch policies, procedures and support systems
Proven customer service and interpersonal skills
Experience with using and demonstrating digital products and self-service technologies
Ability to explore and identify a customer’s true needs while leveraging a digital first mindset
Demonstrated basic level of proficiency in making appropriate recommendations that meet customer’s needs both reactively and proactively
Experience in the financial services industry preferred
