Support the execution of high priority strategic initiatives that advance the mission of the Comprehensive Cancer Center
Ensure that strategic initiatives are well defined, operationally feasible, tracked effectively, and aligned with NCI Comprehensive Cancer Center expectations
Collaborate with faculty, clinical leaders, program administrators, shared resources, and institutional partners to turn strategic goals into measurable progress
Coordinate the day to day implementation of the Cancer Center's strategic initiatives across research and clinical missions
Translate strategic goals into actionable work plans, deliverables, milestones, and timelines
Manage cross functional workstreams supporting strategic initiatives such as scientific program development and recruitment; clinical trials strategy and accrual growth; multidisciplinary care enhancements; and data integration and research infrastructure improvements
Develop metrics, dashboards, and tracking systems that measure initiative progress and impact
Monitor adherence to NCI expectations for comprehensive cancer centers and support data collection for CCSG submissions
Facilitate communication between initiative leads, faculty, clinical teams, research administration, and external collaborators.
Requirements
Bachelors degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Business, Biology, or related field required
Master's degree (MPH, MHA, MBA, MS) preferred
Three years of experience supporting strategic initiatives, project management, research administration, clinical operations, or organizational strategy
Experience in an academic medical center, cancer center, or research environment preferred
Familiarity with NCI CCSG requirements is an advantage.
