About this role
Role Overview
- Provide practical, business-focused legal support across AEVI's operations.
- Work closely with our General Counsel.
- Act as a trusted partner to teams across Procurement, Product, Information Security, Engineering, and Commercial functions.
- Help navigate legal and regulatory matters in a fast-paced technology environment.
- Combine day-to-day commercial contracting with strategic legal advisory work.
- Find pragmatic solutions, balancing risk with business needs, and building strong relationships across the organisation.
Requirements
- Qualified German lawyer with approximately 8–10 years' post-qualification experience.
- Experience gained across both private practice and in-house environments, ideally within technology, fintech or SaaS businesses.
- Strong expertise in:
- Commercial contracts and procurement
- GDPR and data protection
- Intellectual property
- Technology and software law
- Legal risk assessment
- Excellent drafting, negotiation and communication skills.
- Strong commercial judgement and a pragmatic, solutions-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and build credibility with stakeholders at all levels.
