Act as the main HR contact for a portfolio of multiple teams, aligning HR practices with business needs.
Provide daily coaching to managers on topics such as performance management, delivering difficult feedback, team dynamics, engagement, accountability, and conflict resolution.
Take full ownership of employee relations cases from end to end: analysis, recommendations, documentation, meetings, action plans, and follow-ups.
Advise managers on the best approaches for disciplinary actions, performance improvement plans (PIPs), internal investigations, sensitive situation management, and crisis management.
Support and drive core HR cycles for your scope: performance reviews, calibrations, salary reviews, internal mobility, onboarding, offboarding, etc.
Guide managers through organizational change, role clarifications, team restructurings, or scope adjustments.
Collaborate with a small HR team of 1 to 2 people (Advisor / Coordinator), ensuring quality, rigor, prioritization, and development.
Partner with our HR Manager on cross-functional issues, team priorities, continuous improvement of practices, and structuring the HR function.
Ensure the proper execution of HR operations within your scope, including follow-ups, documentation, coordination, and quality of service.
Requirements
Around 7 to 9 years of HR experience, with significant experience in employee relations, manager coaching, and an advisory capacity.
Experience in an HRBP, Senior HR Advisor, People Partner, or equivalent role.
Demonstrated ability to manage an HR scope with autonomy, judgment, and credibility.
Very strong advisory posture: Capable of challenging, recommending, influencing, and guiding with tact and confidence.
Excellent command of employment laws and practices, particularly in Quebec, with a good understanding of the Canadian and ideally North American context.
