Supports and advises functional leaders on all compensation-related matters
Participates in market benchmarking surveys, leads the annual review of internal salary ranges, and ensures all systems are updated with accurate data
Conducts market pay analyses, including the formulation of conclusions and recommendations on the company’s competitive position
Makes recommendations on offer approvals and pay actions for assigned areas; works to build consensus with key stakeholders
Partners with key stakeholders on job documentation and analysis in support of G-P’s career architecture
Trains managers and employees on compensation practices, career architecture, and compensation conversations
Support administration of all focal point compensation cycles
Guides and advises business leaders through cyclical compensation programs
Accountable for day to day compensation administration, including job requisitions, job or pay changes, job profile maintenance, and timely response to employee queries
Identify and recommend improvements and efficiencies around compensation programs, processes, reporting and support initiatives.
Contribute to various other compensation activities including completing ad hoc job evaluation and market data requests.
Maintain awareness of current trends in Compensation and understand statutory and regulatory requirements.
Familiarity with mainstream AI tools (e.g. Gemini) and a willingness to integrate AI workflows into daily tasks to increase efficiency
Requirements

5 years of Compensation experience
Experience with non-traditional compensation programs highly preferred
Must be familiar with global compensation markets, practices and data
Superior Excel skills: you must know how to work a spreadsheet like no one else. At a minimum, you should be able to easily run vlookups, logical functions, and create pivot tables and charts
Demonstrated analytical skills with the ability to perform independent in-depth analysis
Ability to interface, influence, and communicate effectively with all levels of employees, management, and diverse audiences both in oral and written formats, including the ability to translate “comp speak” into layman’s terms
Demonstrated ability to lead projects of moderate complexity, or play a key role in complex projects from inception through completion
Ability to successfully manage multiple projects with potentially shifting priorities
Strong attention to detail and a measured sense of urgency
Comfortable shifting between transactional day to day activities and strategic priorities
Demonstrated problem solving skills
Must be able to establish and maintain effective working relationships throughout the organization globally
