Electrical Engineer, Automation Systems

Role Overview

• You analyze customer requirements for electrical components, assemblies and complete systems and derive technical solutions from them.
• You plan, coordinate and further develop electrical components and systems or select appropriate solutions according to the specific project requirements.
• You independently prepare design concepts and technical analyses and ensure that the defined requirements are met throughout the entire development process.
• You support the integration of electrical components into the overall system and ensure their testability and functionality.
• You create and maintain hardware and test specifications, acceptance reports and technical order documentation and ensure complete documentation of all relevant work results.
• You perform functional tests and acceptance procedures as part of quality assurance and contribute to ensuring product quality.
• You are willing to undertake multi-day business trips within Germany and support projects on site when required.

Requirements

• Completed Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Mechatronics, Energy Engineering or a comparable technical degree OR completed vocational training as an Electronics Technician for Automation Technology, Electronics Technician for Industrial Operations, Electronics Technician for Devices and Systems or comparable electrical training followed by further qualification as a State-certified Technician in Electrical Engineering.
• High level of commitment, initiative and motivation.
• Team-oriented, cooperative and solution-focused way of working.
• Practical experience with measurement and test equipment such as oscilloscopes and multimeters.
• Confident handling of Microsoft Office applications.
• Very good German skills and good English skills, both spoken and written.
