As COO / Head of Operations, you are the operational and strategic sparring partner to the founder, Joel.
You take ownership of delivery, team, and processes — and drive the AI-first culture from within.
You close the gap between growth ambitions and operational reality: you lead client projects independently, ensuring quality and on-time delivery.
At the same time, you build the internal structures that allow the agency to scale systematically.
You independently lead the company’s most strategically demanding client projects.
You run workshops, develop strategies, and oversee implementation by the team.
You are the primary escalation point for clients and the team.
You advance the Delivery team both technically and organizationally.
Requirements
5–8+ years of professional experience in online marketing, agency work, or consulting — including at least 2–3 years of true leadership responsibility.
Deep understanding of performance marketing (LinkedIn Ads, Google Ads, Meta) — you can challenge concepts, numbers, and strategies on a technical level.
Important: you can not only evaluate campaigns theoretically but also set them up and manage them yourself.
Project management excellence: prioritization, structure, clear timelines, and consistent follow-up.
Confident with analytics & reporting (Looker Studio, GA4, Google Sheets) — you speak the language of data.
AI-first mindset — not just as a user but as a builder.
Ideally experience with PE-backed clients or mid-market (Mittelstand) companies.
