Design parts and assemblies according to client requests and in compliance with client and industry standards;
Modify or create 3D models of parts or assemblies;
Develop and interpret plans, drawings, and technical specifications for various parts or assemblies;
Revise and incorporate changes to technical drawings;
Standardize 3D models and drawings according to client and industry standards;
Analyze submitted change requests;
Research technical specification documentation when not provided by the client;
Perform root cause analysis and resolve issues;
Provide technical support to production and engineering;
Assist in drafting quality procedures;
Share technical knowledge with team members;
Verify assembly manuals;
Understand AS9100 requirements related to the responsibilities of this role;
Follow the company’s QMS procedures and apply the relevant tools when performing tasks

2 to 5 years of relevant professional experience;
DEC (College Diploma) in Aeronautical Construction/Structures or Mechanical Engineering;
Experience in the aerospace or manufacturing sector is an asset;
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint);
Proficient with First Article Inspection (FAI) processes;
Proficient in design and modeling software (CATIA V5 and 3DVia);
Familiarity with Material Resource Planning (MRP) systems such as SAP and BaaN;
Knowledge of Mentor Graphics or CorelDRAW is an asset;
Familiarity with design software (AutoCAD, Smarteam, Enovia and MBOM) is an asset;
Bilingual: French and English, written and spoken.
