Role Overview
- Work directly with prospective and existing manufacturing customers to understand operational challenges on the shop floor
- Lead on-site and remote operational assessments focused on line performance, downtime, throughput, quality, and improvement potential
- Translate plant-level observations into a clear operational and financial value story
- Build practical business cases, including ROI, payback, and operational impact
- Partner with account executives to shape customer conversations and reduce deal risk through credible operational insight
- Support pilot and trial programs to help customers move from interest to adoption
- Coach customer teams on how to use Factbird in a way that creates real value, not just more reporting
- Build trusted relationships with stakeholders ranging from operators and CI leads to plant managers and senior decision-makers
- Act as the bridge between customer needs, operational reality, and internal commercial and customer teams
- Bring manufacturing best practices and operational-improvement thinking into how Factbird works with customers across the region
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in manufacturing operations, continuous improvement, operational excellence, operations consulting, or a closely related environment.
- Strong understanding of OEE, downtime, throughput, quality, and operational KPIs
- Hands-on experience with Lean, Six Sigma, TPM, or similar improvement methods
- Ability to build and defend a practical business case for operational change
- Confidence working with operators, supervisors, CI leads, plant managers, and senior stakeholders
- Comfort with digital tools, dashboards, analytics, MES-adjacent systems, or industrial software
- Fluency in Dutch and English — written and spoken — is required
- Willingness to travel across Benelux
