Responsible for prescription order entry, insurance processing, and patient outreach
Work in a large volume centralized specialty and mail order pharmacy call center setting under pharmacist supervision
Engage in personal development to stay updated with pharmacy trends
Perform all tasks associated with prescription order entry and adjudication for centralized specialty and home delivery prescriptions
Navigate dispensing software to process prescriptions efficiently and coordinate delivery
Resolve insurance issues and communicate delays to patients
Synchronize patient medication refills
Serve as primary contact with patients regarding medication fulfillment needs
Collaborate with the central pharmacy dispensing team to coordinate services and fulfill prescriptions
Ensure all assigned tasks are completed at the end of shift

High School Diploma or equivalent required
If not already registered, Pharmacy Technician registration must be completed with KY Board of Pharmacy by date of hire (no testing is required; only a completed application and fee)
Previous retail, mail order, central/call center pharmacy work experience highly preferred.
