Coordinate or lead the planning, execution, and delivery of robotic deployment projects from concept to commissioning with the factories team and the integrator.
Define project scope, goals, deliverables, timelines, and budgets in alignment with stakeholders.
Coordinate with internal teams (engineering, operations, maintenance, safety) and external vendors/integrators.
Manage project risks, change controls, and resource constraints to ensure successful deployment.
Analyze manufacturing processes to identify automation and robotization opportunities.
Define ROI, payback period, and performance KPIs for proposed robotic investments.
Prepare and present detailed business cases to Business Line leadership and the robotics & automation council to support capital investment decisions.
Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to validate technical feasibility and integration of robotic systems.
Oversee system acceptance testing (FAT, SAT) and post-installation performance validation.
Ensure solutions comply with safety standards, industry regulations, and internal quality requirements.
Support the development of roadmaps for future robotic initiatives in factories and the scalability of ongoing projects.
Monitor emerging technologies and recommend enhancements for long-term competitiveness.
Support internal capability building and knowledge transfer across sites.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Automation, Mechatronics) or a related field.
Master’s degree or MBA is a plus.
Experience in robotics implementation, automation, or manufacturing project management.
Proven track record of successfully delivering robotic/automation projects in factory environments.
Experience with low-volume, high-mix production settings and scaling capacity through automation.
Fluent in English (written and spoken).
Competent in project management and associated tools.
Strong understanding of robotic systems (collaborative robots, industrial arms, AGVs, sensors, actuators and related hardware).
Deep knowledge and understanding of manufacturing systems, lean principles, and digital transformation tools.
SAP and IoT (Internet of Things) knowledge and experience are a plus.
