Fund Accountant – Private Market Funds

Role Overview

• In a German speaking team responsible for fund accounting
• Process transactions, reconciliation and fee calculations
• Prepare NAV reports
• Coordinate workflow and complete detailed daily, weekly and monthly NAV packages
• Review cash and reconciliation positions, validate portfolio pricing
• Accrue income and expenses
• Responsible for partner and shareholder allocation calculations
• Analyze fund returns and performance in accordance with current market trends and forecasts
• Prepare and review capital calls, distributions, subscriptions and redemptions
• Prepare and review statutory financial statements (IFRS)
• Support the audit process
• Prepare and execute client payments
• Ensure timely and accurate filing of administrative documents
• Share financial and accounting knowledge with offices around the world.

Requirements

• Studies with a focus on Banking & Finance or Accounting
• Financial Services experience in the fund business as an accountant or financial controller
• Experienced with financial statements, IFRS, investment products and NAV calculations
• Analytical mindset
• Responsible and entrepreneurial thinking
• Analytical, well-structured approach
• Goal and solution-oriented
• Ability to work under pressure and flexibility
• Knowledge of MS Office programs
• Flair for IT systems
• German as well as English.
