Role Overview
- Build the design function.
- Establish design standards, a component library, and a shared design system.
- Own the end-to-end user experience for both platforms.
- Partner closely with Product and Engineering.
- Talk to users, run usability sessions, observe workflows and bring user evidence into every design decision.
- Design for AI.
- Ship production-ready designs quickly.
Requirements
- 7+ years of product design experience, with at least 2 leading a design team or function.
- A portfolio that shows range: complex workflows, data-dense screens, onboarding flows, and clean consumer-grade UI.
- Systems thinker.
- Strong in both UX and UI, and an expert in Figma.
- Experience managing designers (employees or contractors).
- Comfortable working across two products with different design philosophies.
- Technically fluent enough to partner with front-end engineers on implementation.
- You understand responsive design, accessibility, and what is feasible in a sprint.
- You use AI in your own design process and can point to concrete examples.
- Bonus points: Healthcare, EHR/EMR, or clinical software design experience.
