Provide technical expertise and pre-sales support for Cisco's comprehensive portfolio
Collaborate cross-functionally with Cisco’s I&MI Product Sales Specialists, Services, Engineering, and Account Managers
Deliver compelling technical presentations, demonstrations, and proof-of-concepts to customers at all levels
Design and architect end-to-end solutions for next-generation converged networks spanning Layer 0 to Layer 3
Lead RFP/RFQ responses for optical and routing solutions in SP environments
Create and present ROI-based business case modeling to drive value-based selling
Act as a trusted technical advisor for strategic accounts

8+ years of experience in Optical, Service Provider routing and Solution sales/engineering
Proven experience as a Systems Engineer or Solutions Architect in the telecommunications/networking industry
Experience engaging with key customers, understanding their unique needs, and applying industry best practices
Deep knowledge of optical networking space with experience in DCI, Metro, Core, and Subsea DWDM solutions
Hands-on optical design experience for Layer 0 and Layer 1 DWDM networks
Strong Understanding of Telecom networks, IP Networking, L2/L3 VPNs, SDN, Segment routing/v6, Optical Networking, 4G/5G networks
Understanding of Layer 3 technologies and management plane including MPLS, RSVP, SR, SDN, NMS
Knowledge of IEEE standards for security and transport
