Role Overview
- Lead the strategy, development, and execution of graphic planning, storefront visual communications, and complex store design initiatives
- Partner with Store Planning, Design, Construction, Real Estate, Operations, Merchandising, and Marketing teams
- Manage a team of designers and collaborate with cross-functional partners
- Create compelling renderings, presentations, elevations, and design packages
- Review architectural drawings and site-specific conditions
- Lead the planning and design of storefront graphic programs
- Manage annual RFPs for graphic vendors
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of graphic planners
Requirements
- BA/BS in Graphic Design, Environmental Design, Retail Design, Architecture, Interior Design, or related field, or significant relevant experience
- 3-5 years of experience in retail design, graphic planning, environmental graphics, or store design
- 2+ years of leadership experience managing design teams is a plus
- Exceptional presentation, storytelling, and communication skills
- Willingness to travel regularly to corporate office and for site visits
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Microsoft Office
- Strong Project management experience
