Role Overview
- Perform related drawing development using REVIT and or AutoCAD on building projects
- Support drawing preparation for layouts, sketches, maps, and graphic representations of architectural and engineering designs
- Formatting drawings to client standards using several software
- Creating BIM models using REVIT
- Collaborate with other production team members
- Have an understanding of engineering and architectural documentation and preparation of structural drawings
- Must be able to work in a group setting and monitor projects for standards compliance and general modeling errors
- Review BIM models for design coordination issues
Requirements
- Associate's Degree in Drafting & Design or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of relevant experience providing plan preparation and project deliverable drawings and files for building structures and foundations
- Significant design experience with REVIT (please be prepared to show samples)
- Ability to solve problems and carry out responsibilities with minimal supervision
- Work on multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong communication skills are a must.
