Monitor, track, and evaluate LCC carrier performance to key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics
Responsible for leading LCC carrier management to establish countermeasures and improvement plans are created and executed and follow up with carrier regarding progress being made to these countermeasures
Lead on-site LCC carrier activities to include 12 – 16 by 5 coverage for all issues not limited to natural disasters, operation shutdowns, business continuity plans, etc.
Create standardized work procedures (SOS/JES) for LCC activities
Educate, train, and monitor LCC carrier execution to standardized work
Perform process audits and lead various carrier performance reviews
Provide reporting for LCC performance metrics to appropriate leadership
Work with the customer to establish strategies for continuous improvement of the consolidation centers
Lead value stream mapping activities and create LCC process flow diagrams
Review weekly logistics consolidation center invoice submission for validity and first level approval of invoices in excess of $330K/week and $17M/year
Identify cost savings of $100K/annual in LCC projects
Participate in network carrier transitions that consist of weeklong assignments away from home
Work across two shifts with LCC Operations ending at 1830 EST at least one afternoon/evening per week
Requirements
4 years of logistics or transportation experience
Demonstrated group presentation skills and excellent negotiation skills to deal effectively with individuals and groups within and outside the organization
Strong Fluency of Windows applications and Microsoft Office programs such as MS Project, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
