About this role
Role Overview
Sell and promote products and services to contractor customers and end clients
Contribute to and implement National promotional strategy and measure own performance/effectiveness
Drive regional promotions for competitive advantage
Develop nominated accounts to increase sustainable profitable sales growth
Manage nominated accounts and clients
Identify, develop and manage new opportunities
Identify key strategic clients for development
Manage secured business and implement tailored specification support packages
Produce highly detailed technical specifications
Requirements
Previous B2B sales experience within a field based sales role preferably within the construction/trades industry
Sufficient specification and technical proficiency
Ability to understand and communicate product and technical information
Influencing and negotiation skills
Commercially aware
Background in product focused sales and understanding margin improvement is advantageous
Able to work on own initiative and self-motivated
Current valid driving license
