About this role
Role Overview
Develop and maintain relationships with contractors, engineers, architects, consultants, and industry partners
Identify new business opportunities, project leads, and potential market growth areas
Support long-term business development efforts through customer engagement and relationship management
Collaborate with internal sales and leadership teams to support territory growth initiatives
Represent the company professionally during customer meetings, project discussions, trade shows, and industry events
Provide technical guidance and design support during project planning, design, specification, and specification phases
Partner customers and project teams with product selection, provide technical information, and application support
Support contractors, project teams, and engineers during bidding, proposal, and submittal phases
Conduct jobsite visits, field evaluations, and site assessments to identify opportunities and support project development
Deliver product presentations, demonstrations, and educational sessions for customers and industry professionals
Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to identify new business and product opportunities
Drive strategic initiatives to expand market presence, strengthen customer partnerships, and support long-term growth
Assist with the development of technical marketing materials, specification resources, and product documentation
Provide field feedback and market insight to internal engineering, marketing, and product teams
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or related field preferred
Experience in construction, structural systems, foundation repair, engineered products, technical sales, project management, business development, or related industries preferred
Experience working with construction documents, design plans, specifications, or technical submittals is a plus
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Ability to present technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
Self-motivated with the ability to manage projects, customer relationships, and travel schedules independently
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general business software platforms
Willingness to travel regularly for customer meetings, jobsite visits, and industry events
