As Retail Expansion & Business Development Manager, you bring Funzy from the digital world directly to people: through pop-up spaces, events and trade fairs across the DACH region.
You develop new locations and partnerships, create special experiences around our products and turn first encounters into long-term enthusiasm.
You bring Funzy to the major cities of the DACH region and take full operational and strategic responsibility for our monthly pop-up stores from A to Z — including location scouting, logistics, team management, live sales and post-event analysis.
You are responsible for a seven-figure revenue channel with clear targets, manage budgets and KPIs, and keep both growth and profitability in focus.
You ensure every sales space reflects the Funzy brand perfectly — creative, high-quality and absolutely “Insta-ready.”
In the medium term you will play a central role in building our first Funzy flagship store and actively shape how we develop our offline presence in the coming years.
You establish long-term partnerships and position Funzy where families spend time: from family cafés and family hotels to concept stores and experience venues.
You develop creative activations, events and campaigns that generate attention, bring people together and drive sales.
You work closely with our marketing team to extend offline experiences intelligently into the digital world.
You recruit, train and motivate local promoters and event teams, ensuring every activation is a success.
You’re hands-on and are the driving force on-site behind our pop-ups and activations.
Requirements
You have previous experience in areas such as Retail Expansion, Store Management, Field Sales, Trade Marketing or Business Development, ideally in a dynamic startup, DTC or consumer environment.
You are a true organizational talent, work solution-oriented and keep an overview even when many things are happening at once.
You are a doer and enjoy getting hands-on: from negotiation meetings to building a pop-up store.
You proactively approach people, build relationships and enjoy negotiating strong partnerships and attractive deals.
You love achieving targets, making successes visible and get energy when an idea turns into revenue.
You have a good instinct for families, parents and children and understand what motivates our target audience.
You enjoy variety and being on the road. Around 40–50% of your working time is spent traveling within the DACH region.
You speak fluent German and very good English.
