About this role
Role Overview
Develops, manages, and fosters relationships with contractors across various trades and with trade organizations and relevant industry groups.
Responsible for contractor recruitment into the multifamily program based on program needs and priorities.
Works with subcontractor partners to effectively execute the program delivery strategy and support the achievement of program goals.
Monitors program participation and adjusts contractor recruitment strategy to optimize participation in pursuit of program goals.
Provides ongoing support and training to contractors regarding program updates, submission deadlines, safety and other issues on a scheduled and as-needed basis.
Leads ad hoc meetings/calls with the internal team and partners on subjects relating to contractor recruitment, issue resolution, successes, challenges, and requests for additional support.
Delivers presentations and communicates program offerings while tailoring messaging to a variety of stakeholders.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
A Bachelor’s degree and minimum of 5 years’ experience in contractor or trades management.
Previous management experience in training and recruitment.
Proven success in engaging contractors, unions, subcontractors and trade organizations.
Ability to communicate clearly and establish expectations and guidelines with disparate trades.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects and collaborating with cross-functional teams under tight deadlines.
Proficient skills with Microsoft Office Suite, CRM tools.
New Jersey residency required
