Assist the Tax Manager/Director of Tax in identifying tax implications of research and planning projects to minimize the Company’s tax liabilities
Maintain the tax calendar, reconcile tax accounts, and respond to government notices
Support IRS and state tax controversies by responding to related tax correspondence and information requests
Ensure processes and procedures comply with SOX regulations
Assist with special projects related to Meals & Entertainment, R&D, sales sourcing, parking & transportation, and transfer pricing
Conduct tax research and analysis to support planning and compliance efforts
Balance AI-assisted efficiency with professional judgment to ensure outputs remain accurate, compliant, and aligned with SOX and tax policy requirements
Collaborate with team members on process improvements and automation initiatives
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field

4 years of corporate accounting or tax experience in a public accounting firm and/or large corporation
Federal and state compliance experience preferred
Strong technological skills, with intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, Word, etc.)
