Manage end-to-end sales and use tax compliance, including preparation and timely filing of monthly, quarterly, and annual returns
Establish and maintain indirect tax accounts for new acquisitions, entities, and jurisdictions
Update and maintain tax accounts to reflect legal entity changes in partnership with the Legal team
Collaborate with accounting and business teams to collect, validate, and analyze tax data
Research and resolve tax notices, discrepancies, and compliance issues
Ensure timely processing of tax-related invoices, renewals, and payments
Conduct research on indirect tax requirements for new locations and acquisitions to ensure compliance
Support the implementation and enhancement of tax systems and processes
Support sales and use tax audit readiness by gathering necessary data, maintaining well-organized documentation, and assisting with auditor requests and inquiries
Contribute to team initiatives and support additional tax-related projects as needed
Requirements
5+ years of indirect tax experience with a degree in Accounting or Finance (CMI preferred)
Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills with ability to interpret, reconcile, and draw insights from tax data
Effective communicator who can simplify complex financial concepts and confidently engage with cross-functional teams and senior leaders
