Client Manager

Role Overview

• Responsible for building and maintaining consultative and strategic partnerships with assigned book of business through the entire client life cycle
• Works directly with sales executives during finalist presentations and may be asked to present to potential clients
• Expected to support and service between 12 – 20 clients
• Maintains senior management-level contact with client stakeholders and the broker
• Internal project participation that benefits and supports the client and/or the client management organization
• Charged with retaining and growing their assigned book of business

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree and 5 Years health insurance industry experience OR High School diploma and 9 years previous Client Management experience
• Understanding of self-funding and employee benefit plans; stop loss understanding a plus
• Knowledge and understanding of benefit-related federal laws (i.e., ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, ACA, etc.)
• Ability to travel is required (up to 25%)
• Ability to interact with senior level executives
• Excellent presentation skills
• Analytical skills, problem-solving skills, and time management skills are required
• Results oriented and self-motivated
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills are required, as are exceptional organizational skills
