Support the team with face to face and remote selling to new and existing customers.
Appoint new distributors.
Sell directly or indirectly through various sales channels for your assigned territory.
Assess customer needs and suggest appropriate products, services, and solutions to farmers.
Help develop and deliver sales bids, proposals, presentations, and participate in conducting product demonstrations.
Identify and contact prospective customers.
Build customer relationships that help generate future sales and repeat business.
Apply broad theoretical job knowledge to sell directly to customers.
Handle complex clerical, administrative, technical, or customer support issues under minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
Minimum of 2 years of related work experience.
Strong exposure in sales advisor role, general trade and distribution sales in the agriculture sector. (pesticides, fertilizers, agriculture chemicals) in Tamil Nadu.
Sales exposure in the Dairy / Cattle Feed Sales background is an added advantage.
Should have very strong connects with farmers.
Must be fluent in speaking local language.
Proven experience in increasing sales and profitability in the assigned territory.
