About this role
Role Overview
Performs a variety of high level and administrative duties related to Legal Specialization and Education (LSE) departmental programs: CLER, BSCR, Course Accreditation and Board Certification.
Manages workflow and supervises in the Certification Specialists day-to-day departmental operations.
Development and management of statistical information.
Communicates with Bar members, LSE staff and other departments in problem solving.
Conducts ongoing needs assessment of the department; workload management.
Responsible for supervising personnel and the overall daily operations of the Board Certification program.
Assists LSE Director with oversight of CLER; BSCR; CLE Accreditation process in accordance with rules.
Directs, develops and recommends personnel actions for certification staff, including hiring, training, and appraisals.
Ensures exams utilize proper formats and comply with Exam Drafting Handbook.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree (proof of degree required at interview)
Four (4) years of professional office administrative experience, two (2) of which in a supervisory capacity.
Knowledge of professional administrative procedures and practices
Supervisory and management techniques
Public relations techniques
Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat, MS Word, MS Excel, and database usage.
