Role Overview
- Identify opportunities to improve provider documentation and create education plans
- Report to the Manager, Coding Education
- Create and execute risk adjustment strategies for provider groups
- Analyze data and provide educational sessions aimed at quality of care, documentation and coding improvements
- Collaborate with relationship owners and HQRI
- Monitor and develop strategy with Coding educator and leader
- Tailor provider group webinars and discussions based on MRA topics
- Create compliant PowerPoint Presentations tailored to group strategy
Requirements
- AAPC CPC (Certified Professional Coder) Certification
- 2 or more years of medical record review knowledge
- Familiar with coding guidelines (i.e. ICD-9/ICD-10)
- Reside in LA or MS or willing to relocate within 6 months
- Microsoft Word (creating documents) and Excel (formulas, pivot tables)
- PowerPoint (creating and presenting)
- Analyzing Data to drive process improvement
- Experience with public speaking /presentation skills
