Generate and qualify leads, identifying prospects genuinely interested in our cybersecurity solutions
Prioritize and research prospects, understanding their current IT situation, challenges, and needs
Engage prospective clients via phone, email, and social media (LinkedIn) to convey Absolute’s unique value propositions
Schedule qualified meetings for Sales through cold calling and strategic outreach, converting them into pipeline opportunities
Build and prioritize strategic account lists within a defined segment
Partner with sales leadership to develop territory plans and target account strategies
Support sales cycles with research, call prep, and occasional participation in follow-up activities or RFP coordination
Build and maintain a working knowledge of target industry trends, pain points, and buyer personas
Foster alignment and positive partnerships with internal Field Sales and Marketing teams. Assist in sales campaigns, ABM outreach, and special initiatives as needed
Participate in virtual and/or in-person events as needed
Utilize our CRM system (Salesforce) to log activity and lead conversion data for business transparency
Requirements
Previous business development experience (3 years preferred)
Strong communication skills for effective interaction with customers, prospects, and team members
Experience in B2B lead generation, ideally within the cybersecurity space, is a bonus but not essential
Comfortable navigating complex organizations and working across functions
