Licensed Behavioral Health Therapist, LCSW/LMFT

Role Overview

• The clinician applies psychological/counseling principles in assessment, clinical interventions, research, training, case management, consultation.
• Supervises non-licensed staff and program development.
• Involved in integrating behavioral health services into a primary care setting.
• Responsibilities include diagnosis, evaluation, treatment, and discharge planning.
• Provides individual, group, child, and family therapy focusing on various therapeutic techniques and interventions.
• Collaborates with the patient to define treatment goals and measures of success.

Requirements

• Professional Licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist by the California Behavioral Science Board.
• Master's level degree required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience working with children, and minimum one year of clinical experience for LCSW.
• A minimum requirement of a valid BLS certification or higher, following the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross guidelines.
• Bilingual English/Spanish or English and other predominant language of the population served preferred.
