About this role
Role Overview
- Design and review DevOps (CI/CT) pipeline developed using Behavior Driven Approach (BDD) and Test Driven Approach (TDD) technique/framework.
- Use automation to accelerate pipeline process, scale environments, run reliable tests, and monitor the pipeline.
- Conduct feasibility analysis of various cloud solutions i.e., AWS, GCP to identify the best fit for client’s systems/applications.
- Use DevOps best practices (automated acceptance testing, version control, continuous feedback etc.) to streamline Agile SDLC and STLC.
- Create automation script for REST-API testing using Postman tool.
- Create complete data driven SOAP UI projects and test Webservices/XML/SOAP and RESTful services using SoapUI tool.
- Write and execute SQL queries for functional test data maintenance.
- Virtualize and test various types of SOA based services including Web Services, REST Services.
- Use service virtualization needs/requirements and create VSIs using WSDL, recording request and response pairs.
- Participate in Agile planning meetings, daily stand ups, grooming sessions, and other sprint related activities such as sprint test designing, execution, defects management, and sprint and system demos.
- Perform analysis of business requirements and design Test Strategy, Test Plan, Test Estimates, Test Scenarios and Test Cases.
- Prepare Requirement Traceability Matrix to ensure the test designing coverage.
- Conduct functional test execution and reporting.
- Perform defect reporting, tracking, and coordination with development, POs, and project teams.
- May be assigned to and provide products/support to specific industry groups such as Retail & Logistics, Automotive, Banking and Finance, Healthcare, Insurance, and Information Technology.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering (any), or related field.
- Three (3) years of experience in any occupation with IT experience, or related.
- Three (3) years of required IT, or related experience must include: Agile methodologies; Test and Defect Management Tools; Agile Management Tools; Cloud Computing Services; Postman; SoapUI; GitLab; Azure DevOps; SQL; Functional Testing of offline products.
- Alternate Education/Experience Requirement: Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering (any), or related and five (5) years of experience in any occupation with IT experience, or related. Must have skills listed above.
