About this role
Role Overview
Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects
Serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management for the ISCVN Program Office
Reviews status of projects and budgets
Manages schedules and prepares status reports
Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives
Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients
Supports project managers in planning, scheduling, budgeting, and tracking project activities
Develops and maintains project documentation, status reports, dashboards, and meeting materials
Monitors project timelines, deliverables, risks, issues, and dependencies as needed
Analyzes project performance metrics and provides actionable insights to stakeholders
Assists with resource allocation, forecasting, and capacity planning
Coordinates meetings, prepares agendas, documents action items, and tracks follow-ups
Ensures compliance with PMO standards, governance processes, and reporting requirements
Identifies opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies
Supports change management and communication activities related to project initiatives
Collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and successful project execution
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree and 10 years of relevant exempt experience
Master's Degree and 8 years of relevant professional experience
NNS Apprentice School graduate
Navy Nuclear Power School (NNPS) graduate
Associate's Degree or other formal 2 year program and 2 years of relevant exempt experience or 4 years of relevant non-exempt experience
Military Paygrade E-5 or above military experience
High School/GED and 4 years combined of Manufacturing, Shipbuilding, Trades, Military experience or other relevant exempt experience
High School/GED and 8 years combined of Manufacturing, Shipbuilding, Trades, Military experience or other relevant non-exempt experience
Proficiency in LRM, material management, preparing presentations for upper management, progressing and EVMS
2–5 years of experience in project coordination, project analysis, business analysis, or PMO support
