Role Overview
- Servicing and repairing JBT Marel sold equipment at customer sites
- Performing technical mechanical, electrical and controls work as a FTNON product line Technician
- Managing field service activities surrounding product lines
- Performing maintenance and setup work on all JBT Marel FTNON products
- Setting up and adjusting machines in the field to equipment specifications
- Performing machine audits, repairs, and preventative scheduled maintenance
- Conducting inventory of new equipment prior to installation
- Installing, commissioning, and setting up JBT Marel FTNON products in facilities
- Diagnosing problems, dismantling machines, replacing defective parts, and reassembling machines
Requirements
- 4-6 years of mechanical/electrical/controls experience OR field service experience
- Working knowledge of fresh produce and fruit processing product lines preferred
- Two-year technical school training or related field experience preferred
- Basic computer skills
- including iPad and smartphone, use of email, Word, Excel, etc.
- Manufacturing experience in the food processing industry preferred.
- Welding skills a plus
