Coordinate permitting activities across multiple active projects, ensuring adherence to permit schedules and timely submission of complete permit packages.
Track permit status, supplemental information, approvals, and as-built staking sheet submissions while maintaining accurate permitting records and documentation.
Serve as the primary point of contact with municipal, county, and state agencies regarding permit applications, inquiries, and compliance requirements.
Monitor regulatory changes and collaborate with project engineers, designers, and internal teams to resolve permit-related issues and minimize project delays.
Maintain organized digital and physical permitting files and ensure documentation is complete, accurate, and accessible.
Provide regular permit status updates to project managers and leadership, identifying potential risks and recommending solutions to keep projects on schedule.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in permitting, construction coordination, project administration, or a related role.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, site plans, and technical documents.
Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Preferred:
Associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
Experience in the telecommunications, utility, or infrastructure industry.
