Managing full accounting processes, including general ledger, journal entries, accruals and reconciliations
Full comprehensive form-content control and accounting of customer and supplier invoices, cash and miscellaneous documents, checking compliance with accounting and tax law and contracts
Preparing, reviewing and analyzing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
Preparing tax returns, Central Statistical Office data reports on time, tax current account reconciliation
Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards, corporate and group financial regulations
Leading month-end and year-end closing activities and ensuring deadlines are met
External liaising with auditors and supporting audit and tax compliance activities
Reviewing balance sheets, investigating discrepancies and resolving discrepancies
Supporting budget planning, forecasting and financial analysis activities
Maintaining and developing internal controls and accounting procedures
Providing guidance and mentoring to junior accounting staff
Collaborating with cross-functional teams, group finance teams
Participating in system developments, ERP developments or process automation initiatives
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or a related field
Registered Chartered Accountant qualification
Professional accounting qualification (e.g. IFRS, ACCA,) preferred
5+ years of relevant accounting experience, including senior level roles
Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and regulatory requirements
Experience with ERP systems
Advanced Excel skills; experience with financial systems and reporting tools
Proven ability to multi-prioritize and manage deadlines
Confident command of English, both spoken and written.
