Role Overview
- Own month-end close activities for assigned entities, including journal entries, reconciliations, management reports, and variance analysis
- Prepare and review financial statements, supporting schedules, and accounting documentation
- Support multi-entity accounting activities across different countries and currencies
- Ensure compliance with IFRS/US GAAP reporting requirements and internal accounting policies
- Coordinate with external auditors, tax agents, and corporate secretaries across jurisdictions
- Support corporate tax filings and statutory compliance activities
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations and ensure accuracy of accounting records
- Identify process improvement opportunities and strengthen internal controls and SOX compliance
- Maintain accounting accuracy and reporting integrity within SAP S/4HANA
- Support ad hoc finance projects, system improvements, and regional finance initiatives
Requirements
- Degree in Accounting or Finance with active CPA, ACCA, ICAEW, or equivalent professional qualification
- 5+ years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, audit, or regional finance roles
- Big 4 audit or multinational company (MNC) experience preferred
- Strong hands-on experience in full-set accounting and month-end close
- Exposure to IFRS and/or US GAAP environments
- Experience supporting audits, reconciliations, and statutory compliance
- Working knowledge of SOX/internal controls
- Experience using ERP systems such as SAP S/4HANA preferred
