Locum Pharmacist Prescriber

Role Overview

• Independently assess and prescribe for patients in line with clinical risk assessments and in-house prescribing protocols.
• Deliver safe, evidence-based prescribing within your scope of competence.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive clinical documentation.
• Apply sound clinical judgement to every prescribing decision.
• Escalate clinical concerns appropriately to Senior or Lead Prescribers.
• Participate in clinical governance, audits, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Contribute to a supportive, collaborative, and high-performing clinical team.

Requirements

• GPhC-registered Pharmacist.
• Independent Prescriber qualification.
• Strong clinical judgement and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Commitment to patient safety and delivering high clinical standards.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced online pharmacy environment.
• Previous experience within an online pharmacy or digital healthcare setting (desirable).
• Experience working within protocol-led prescribing services (desirable).
• Familiarity with clinical audit and governance processes (desirable).
