About this role
Role Overview
Support full-cycle recruiting (sourcing, screening, scheduling, onboarding coordination) for contract and full-time roles
Partner with hiring managers and HR Staffing Vendors to understand requirements and deliver qualified candidate pipelines
Create and post job descriptions in ATS and maintain accurate candidate tracking and reporting
Prepare recruiting summaries, activity reports, and pipeline updates
Assist with vendor management and agency coordination
Ensure compliance with recruiting processes and employment laws (EEOC/DOJ)
Serve as the primary point of contact for Michigan office-related HR/Admin matters
Support Michigan office operations to ensure efficiency and alignment with company policies
Coordinate Michigan office activities such as shipments, supplies, and workplace support
Assist with Michigan office planning and executing employee engagement initiatives, events/parties, and communications
Coordinate Michigan onboarding activities, including Day 1 readiness and cross-functional alignment (HR, IT, vendors)
Provide HR administrative support (data entry, documentation, reporting, employee inquiries)
Maximize productivity and employee morale. Lead by example. Be willing and able to do as much or more than you are asked to get the job done and task completed. Live by and encourage all staff to maintain high ethical and moral standards.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field is a plus.
1-2 years’ experience in HR, recruiting, or administrative support
Bilingual (Japanese) Highly Preferred
Strong attention to detail and organization
Professional communication and stakeholder engagement
Collaboration across HR, recruiting, and business teams
Problem-solving mindset with focus on continuous improvement
High level of confidentiality and professionalism
Experienced in administering benefits
Experienced assisting in training and guiding members on new policy and procedures.
Knowledgeable of HR employment laws and able to stay abreast of latest and ever-changing local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
Any HR Certifications, such as SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP is a plus.
