About this role
Role Overview
Work model: Office based with travel and flexibility.
Review the local market, identify and execute predefined market strategies.
Drive volume, mix, and profitability targets for selected customers across the division.
Build and maintain strategic customer relationships to understand their needs and position ABB's drive product solutions.
Leverage cross-division synergies to enhance customer value and ensure a seamless sales experience.
Develop short-to-medium term sales plans using ABB tools.
Conduct regular pipeline reviews and propose recovery actions for any shortfalls.
Prepare competitive offers in coordination with the bid and proposal team, ensuring technical and financial accuracy.
Validate pricing, trading conditions, and margins on all proposals.
Communicate delivery timelines, payment terms, and contractual conditions aligned with ABB strategy.
Develop and communicate value propositions through marketing activities.
Manage sales administration procedures, commercial decisions, and support project management as needed.
Requirements
Degree in Automation, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
Marketing / Business qualification or some time working in a similar business environment with a track record of building customer relationships considered a bonus
Previous experience in engaging business to position ABB as a valued solutions provider vrs competitors
Results-oriented mindset combined with the engineering and business acumen
Strategic in approach and confidence to take initiative, and turn ideas into action
Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to build trust across stakeholders
Genuine drive to learn, grow, and continuously improve, both personally and as a sales individual.
