About this role
Role Overview
Serve as the primary point of contact for all communications with specialty pharmacy (SP) partners.
Ensure smooth case pull through and an optimal patient experience for those served through the SP channel.
Manage all follow up with SP partners and internal stakeholders, collaborating across teams to resolve issues.
Remove access barriers and meet patient needs.
Support SP data quality to track trends and proactively anticipate and address challenges or access barriers.
Provide consistent and effective communication to all appropriate stakeholders.
Build strong partnerships with Specialty Pharmacy partners to improve patient access.
Prepare and publish weekly data tracking tools for internal stakeholders’ visibility into specialty pharmacy cases.
Support copay card program escalations and claims resolution.
Evaluate and innovate around processes related to working relationships with specialty pharmacies.
Establish and maintain professional and effective relationships with all internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree
Direct experience working for, or with specialty pharmacies.
High level of proficiency using data and analytics tools and platforms.
Minimum 3 years of specialty pharmacy, case management, patient access, or HUB vendor relationship management experience.
Strong background in insurance, reimbursement, and payer landscape as it relates to specialty pharmacies, PBMs, and pharmacy benefit design.
Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills and ability to multi-task and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
Ability to adapt quickly to changing business, customer, and patient needs/requirements.
Willingness to travel up to ~10% domestically.
