Coordinate and provide trauma informed care to clients that is safe, timely, effective, efficient, equitable and client-centered.
Build a positive working relationship with clients to meet their adoption goals through regular, consistent, face-to-face or virtual client contact.
Develop and coordinate post adoption events including peer support, groups and events as well as coaching and case management services for post-adoption clients.
Serve as a mentor to Case Managers/Social Workers.
Develop and provide training such as cultural competence, diversity, equity & inclusion, therapeutic & intervention techniques as applicable to job duties.
Provide supervision and mentoring to students/interns.
Partner with Adoption Psychoeducation Coordinator to develop materials for post adoption services.
Partner with Exchange/Search/Reunion Coordinator to coordinate and provide services with overlap to meet client needs.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Criminal Justice, Counseling or other Human Behavior Science.
Preferred: Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Criminal Justice, Counseling, or other Human Behavior Science.
Professionally licensed (LCSW/LPC) or provisionally licensed as LMSW/PLPC, with 2 years of experience in social services.
Must be a licensed driver with access to a reliable automobile that is insured in accordance with state and/or organization requirements.
