About this role
Role Overview
Process customer invoices and record incoming payments accurately and on time in SAP S/4HANA, ensuring full compliance with company policies, Indian tax laws (e.g., GST, TDS), and regulatory requirements.
Perform cash application, drive collections, and monitor accounts receivable aging to ensure timely collection of outstanding balances.
Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and provisions, and maintain accurate, well-documented general ledger records.
Support month-end and year-end closing activities, including AR and GL reconciliations, and deliver accurate, timely reports to stakeholders.
Coordinate with sales, finance, IT, and business teams to resolve issues and ensure smooth operations.
Respond to customer inquiries and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Support transition and stabilization of AR and GL processes within the SSC.
Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency improvements.
Contribute to standardization and documentation of AR and GL processes.
Support implementation of digital tools and enhancements in SAP S/4HANA
Requirements
A degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
2–4 years of experience in Accounts Receivable and/or General Ledger accounting, ideally within a shared services or multinational (MNC) environment.
Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA or similar ERP systems.
Strong understanding of Indian tax regulations (GST, TDS) and compliance frameworks.
Sharp attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to take ownership and work independently.
Confident communication skills and a positive, collaborative team spirit.
